Campaigns
Our campaign for BEING JORDAN by Katie Price won the Borders Award for Hardback Non-Fiction and was shortlisted for a British Book Award. Our campaign for Katie’s first novel ANGEL was short listed for the Borders Celebrity Book of the Year.
Highlights for 2008 included Simon Doonan’s BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE which went on to become a hugely successful BBC 2 series, the DRAGONS’ DEN tv tie-in book, Allan Hall’s top ten bestseller about Josef Fritzl, MONSTER, plus celebrity promotions for Christopher Biggins, Jade Goody, Christopher Biggins and Aldo Zilli.
While we have worked on many celebrity campaigns including Katie Price, Charlotte Church, Jade Goody, William Roache, Trisha Goddard and Kerry Katona recent and forthcoming campaigns for 2009 reflect the breadth of titles we promote such as new titles from the bestselling fiction authors, Cathy Kelly and Tasmina Perry, ex-newscaster Ed Mitchell’s FROM HEADLINES TO HARD TIMES which tells of his fall from international newscaster to down-and-out living on the streets; Butler and Wilson’s lavish 40th anniversary book BUTLER & WILSON; a guide to finding your perfect partner, WHY HIM? WHY HER? published by Oneworld with the support of Match.com and the debut novel by racehorse trainer, Charlie Brooks.
On the celebrity front we will be promoting Nikki Grahame’s DYING TO BE THIN, her account of living with extreme anorexia since the age of 8 plus working again with Katie Price and Trisha Goddard.
KATIE PRICE – we have worked with Katie since the launch of her first autobiography, BEING JORDAN, and all her subsequent autobiographies, novels and children’s books.
In 2008 we branched into non publishing projects and worked with her on the launch of KP Equestrian, her own range of riding and horse wear and handled all her equestrian activities, including her debut public dressage performance at the Horse of the Year Show. We are looking forward to continuing this strong relationship in 2009.
